Help !!! Any ideas / tips on getting sleeping teens out of bed ?

DD is reading and crying " Mum I'm grieving for a character in a book " WM is on his PSP with a new game bought yesterday. ( blood & gore no doubt )

DD is becoming quite a good cook so I've challenged her to cook tonight. This would involve actually getting out of bed, looking through a recipe book, choosing something, shop for groceries & cook it. Yes mum.
Billy the kit is lying on the desk nodding off. He has tried every which way to get the teens up too. Like me, he's given up.

He has discovered The Cat Flap. This would be our bedroom window where the cats can jump down to a tiled one storey roof and into the back garden.

It's taken a few attempts but he has got there.

  1. hello, thanks for your comment on my blog. What ghost story, I love ghost stories! If you can believe in the unbelievable then you can believe in anything! I just feel there is so much more that we don't see or understand. And no, give up, there is no way on this earth to get teens out of bed. Wave your white flag! Suzie xx

  3. I must have missed that one! I've got goosebumps now after reading that! Doesn't that indicate that there may be a soul though? I tell you there is more to things than meet the eye. I'm choosing to believe anyway, because it makes life more interesting. Great story! Suzie! x

  4. There is one way to get teens out of bed... bring 'em a coffee and tell them loudly and brightly that the day will soon be gone and that will be yet more hours of their lives gone!

Well it worked on me when my mum used to do it!!! Tho' admittedly I suspect that was more the coffee.
