Mum and I have a little joke about our airing cupboards. This originated from when she lived in an old coastguard house on Anglesey where we spent magical holidays. We had my children and their cousins there and mum said that she & I worked well as a team.

Mum always laughed because one of the first things I did was organise her airing cupboard which resembled a jumble sale !

My brother always reorganised her fridge which wasn't so funny as he used to put things on the kitchen floor while he did it - a floor which had heavy traffic of dogs, cats & children.... but we sighed and let him get on with it.

Sadly mum came to the point when the house was too much for her and the grandchildren were all teens for whom shrimping & crabbing had lost it's magic ( I can't understand that...wait til they have children ! )

Mum "downsized " ....and now has a really tidy airing cupboard !!!
