Bim saw the vet & the vet saw Bim.
We are going to try two weeks of a different antibiotic. If he doesn't respond then his trouble is more sinister like a cyst or tumour. However the vet thinks he could soldier on as really, he seems OK ...apart from walking sideways. I wouldn't let him be in pain so....
....fingers & toes crossed.
Fingers crossed for Battle Bim! Hope he feels better soon and the new antibiotics work wonders. x
ReplyDeleteHi Bad Penny!
ReplyDeleteHope he get better soon!
I have 3 dogs and 2 of them are ill, so I can understand how do you feel at the moment.
Good luck!
Thank you. Not sleeping well anxious about the hens ... am I doing the right thing ? Help !
ReplyDeleteI was anxious about ours. They have been brilliant though! I did have to re-home the sussex as she was too noisy for suburbia. The Blackrock and Bluebelle have been amazing - quiet as mice and lay every day. You may find this place of interest if you haven' seen it already: http://www.poultrychat.com/vb/ Hope that helps settle your worries. Just do what feels right for you guys. Xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Lucy - I will placate neighbours with fresh eggs & the knowledge that I won't be getting a cockrell !
ReplyDeleteNow there's a line... Bim saw the vet and the vet saw Bim! I am still convinced that Bim is turning into a Crab-Cat. A fluffier, green-eyed version, but still.
ReplyDeleteCats don't soldier on, they are too busy eating, teasing something or snoozing somewhere comfortable. It's vets that soldier on!!
Shame you're not getting a Little Red Rooster... he would soon sort out any Schnauzers in the vicinity!... and any cats too come to think of it!
Funny you should say that !
