Finally got to town to cinema. DD & I saw The Time Traveler's Wife. Enjoyed but a bit sentimental. Still, if you've read the book you'll enjoy the film. ( I read the book three times....or was it once ? )

Wee Man & boy from next door saw G I Joe. Then acted out guns & war all afternoon.

Went to shopping centre ( not a place I like to be ) DD wanted to go to Hollister having discovered it in New York on a school trip ( we went to Dieppe for a day ) Spent loads a money there - then went to H & M & bought similar for less money. At least she can mix & match at college. Some of her summer earnings well spent.

DD forgot her handbag twice - once at cinema & once at train station. She uses pockets or a shoulder bag usually - or says " Mum, can you put my wallet in your bag ? "

I like clothes labels & use them as bookmarks. I keep all the good bags from clothes stores & use them too.

Darling Daughter has discovered clothes....
