Probably out a lot tomorrow - taking the teens to the cinema which involves buses & trains ( I don't drive ! ) Darling daughter & I are going to see The Time Traveller's Wife. Wee Man - G I Joe. He says he doesn't mind being Billy-no-mates but he may take a friend.
So I want to say today, in case I don't get a chance tomorrow, that I will have been Blogging for a week !

ReplyDeleteAlso, if you see something on someone's blog you like, chances are if you click on it it may take you to where they found it. I like to keep things simple myself but it took me what seemed like an age to work out how to get pics on properly etc. Have fun tinkering and enjoy your day out tomorrow! x

ReplyDeleteIf it's in word it should copy and paste OK Penny. I have a word folder with all my posts in, I type them up 'as and when' I'm inspired then transfer them to my blog when I get chance to sit and catch up.
ReplyDeleteOn your 'new post' window that you type in, there are two little tabs at the top right just above the white box you type in; one says 'compose' and one says 'edit html' If you don't type in the 'compose' one and make sure you type in the 'edit html' box, then you can copy/paste/delete/whatever much easier! Make sure you add a title if you wish and click 'hide preview' and 'unhide preview' to do any edits etc before you publish. Hope that helps! xx (If it works I fear I'm turning into a geek! ARGH!). x

ReplyDeleteI've been blogging for over a year now and like Victoria... there's still lots I don't know either. My principle is keep it simple... cos I don't know all that much about it!!
ReplyDeleteTa for that Lucy, I didn't know that one for a start!! Have been writing up stories in the 'compose' box! You will need cake that will stop you from becoming a geek... at least that's my excuse!
