Well this post is about our lovely Bramble ( Bim ) Darling daughter chose him for her eighth birthday which makes him eight now (rather he chose her at the cat sanctuary as cats do )
First thing we noticed was - he had a wonky mouth....vet said he'd had probably a knock. He learned to eat on one side. Two weeks later 'im out-of-doors was slamming our heavy back door shut & ....oops Bim's tail trapped in it ( ouch ) Amputation ( People ask - is he a Manx ? )
A couple of years later, Bim decided our neighbour's car engine was a warm place to sleep ...til she started up - oops. We had the builders in & all they could hear was F *!! from the neighbour and Mi**!!w from Bim who was trapped in the fan belt.
He survived but had a huge gash in his stomach which once healed changed his gait - he sort of walks in circles. I offered to pay for a new fan belt.
THEN... silly boy went fighting & lost his cheek... literally lost his cheek & had to have two operations...loads of dosh ( don't go there...)
...so now this gammy mouthed, circular walking, flat faced cat started walking sideways with his head shaking to and fro !!!
Poor Bim - the Vet thinks it's an inner ear infection and literally - he is walking upside down. He's on massive antibiotics & steroids.
Back to Vets later ...will let you know how he gets on.

PS Bim's a bit camera shy !
Wow, Bim sure lives by the 'nine lives' rule hey! I really hope his ear clears up. x
