doom and gloom

Poor Dillon had to have another operation. It seemed quite straight forward to remove a lump on his gum but once under anaesthetic the Vet found a tumour in Dillon's throat. I was called into the operating room to discuss options. We went ahead with the operation.

If Dillon grows further tumours deeper in his throat then we have to be sensible.

Oh dear, not a great week. Husband is conserned about his mum so making the ten hour drive to see her this weekend.

Jess is in a bit of a rut in New Zealand as hasn't found a job yet and dipping into her savings.

The steroid injection hasn't touched the pain in my hip so I  am still limping and in pain. I had to stop my Yoga class have way through and lie down !

We had a few days of very very cold weather here in the south of England, nothing like in the North but freezing none the less and a lot of ice.

Sorry, depressing post. Tell me something funny x

  1. Spring is just a long time coming, isn't it. It might fix so much.

  2. Altho bordering on 69th birthday I bought some jeggings. Which appeared to cut off my circulation, now discarded. Is that not funny? Thinking hard about Dillon. MIL, Jess, and hips. x

  3. Sometimes life can be horrible and throw way too many things at you at once. This year isn't turning out to be such a great one for us so far. It could be a lot worse though. I've had a pretty bad week this week, so I sympathise. Sorry about poor Dillon, bless him.

  4. And this too shall pass. Sorry I don't know anything funny at the moment. Weatherman says ANOTHER Nor'easter is headed our way, and that is definitely not funny.

  5. I hope the visit to see your mother-in-law has alleviated some of that worry.
Sending a huge hug to you.
You'd have been laughing watching me try and copy Savanna's street dance moves in my sister's kitchen yesterday judging by the howls of laughter from my family!
I'll just leave you with that image.
