Good news ! Jess has a job in New Zealand ! She will be doing the breakfast shift waitressing in a hotel.
Every time Jess went for a job they liked her but gave it to someone with more waitressing experience but this was a job where a friend of hers was leaving so she got a foot in the door.
Very relieved as she was running out of money and wants to stay longer. Jess is now in a private room in the hostel with two other girls and sounds happy. That's such a relief as she was a bit lonely.
I am volunteering two days at the charity shop as a deputy manager left.
I didn't get the steroid injection as the pain has shifted so now need an MRI scan, and so it goes on......
Yay for Jess, and for all young woman who figure out how to follow their dream.
ReplyDeleteWell done Jess, so pleased for her.
ReplyDeleteHope things at the shop are ok and the politics are settling and you are enjoying what you are doing there.
Hope the MRI goes well.
