I have had a disasterous Easter weekend. Suffice to say it was like a build up story exploding in East Enders.
I don't think things can ever be repaired with my nieces.
My husband, son and daughter have been fantastic comforting me in my distress and some friends have really stepped up to listen.
Happy families X
Hope you can get things sorted out.
ReplyDeleteOh Penny, I'm sorry to hear that you've had a terrible Easter weekend. Families are strange things, but I'm sure that any perceived damage will be repairable eventually, given a bit of time and willingness on everyone's part.
ReplyDeleteOh,, Penny. Take it from the original discoverer of "no such thing as a normal family," you're OK. And, time will sort it out. xxoo
ReplyDeleteFamilies can give you so much grief can't they. We've had our share with the daughter-in-laws, thank goodness my sons have s understood and stayed faithful to us but I've spent so much time trying to understand just what went wrong.
ReplyDeleteHopefully things will sort themselves out in time. hope so.

I am truly sorry to read about the situation with your nieces. I hope that whatever has been broken can be repaired over time.

So sorry to hear that my friend. Big hugs to you x
ReplyDeleteOh dear, families, sometime we just can't get on. Give it time you never know. Thinking of you xxx
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are upset. xxx
ReplyDeleteYes there's the old saying- this too will pass!
ReplyDeleteMind you I'm still standing here on the side of the 'life's road' wondering how long the passing lane is and wishing some things would get a move on a bit more quickly.
Take care
Cathy
Ah hugs hun, I hope you are OK xxx
ReplyDeleteGive it time and give it to God! Hugs!

Sometimes things are just meant to happen, so we can move on to a new chapter in our lives with a lighter load. xx
